Bronfman Center

M.E.A.T., which stands for Meet Eat And Torah, is an innovative Tuesday night learning event serving the Jewish Community at New York University. M.E.A.T. provides the opportunity to socialize with old friends and make new friends, enjoy delicious FREE meat dinner, and learn a wide range of topics. Every week there will be several different classes held, lead by students and Bronfman Center staff, discussing topics ranging from a weekly Torah portion lesson to to introductory courses in Jewish life to what it means to live a Jewish life today (word on the street is Rabbi Black digs classic hip hop). Students are also welcome to find a quiet spot in the Bronfman Center in the Beit Midrash/Library on the second floor to learn on their own or with a friend. For more information or to get involved contact Rabbi Gideon Black.
